Baroque architecture at Kuks

Are you keen on sightseeing? So then go from  Janské Lázně to visit a small village with a magical name Kuks. This popular tourist destination in the Trutnov district can boast of many Baroque sights such as an old hospital or preserved baroque spa from the end of the 17th and the beginning of the  18th century.

The statuary in this vast baroque complex was created by the famous Baroque sculptor Matyáš Bernard Braun. The grand parade of Baroque sculptures out in the open also stretches to the surrounding woods.

Kuks is worth visiting, especially in summer. Every year in  August you can visit a popular festival of classical and baroque music, dance and theater.
